well, it is the start of a new year and who knows what the year has in store!! i have many things in mind but they say life is what happens when you're busy making plans.
some exciting news, my good friends had a baby boy on the 28th of december. now with a baby boy and a baby girl to spoil i will be keeping busy.
i had a wonderful time with my family for christmas. i had to work over christmas so i rented a car and drove home, with my brothers, on the 29th. we were there until the first of january. four very full, fun filled days.
Allison (who now lives in b.c.) surprised me and showed up on my doorstep the morning of the 28th. between work and going home we squeezed in as much time as we could, which meant a decrease in the amount of sleep i usually get. but what's more important, right? it was great to see her and have her here for a few days.
in case you hadn't heard i have taken a permanent position on pediatrics. that position starts in march. i am loving working with the kids and there is still so much to learn. they keep me on my toes, that's for sure. i am looking forward to the start of that position as it means a change in my rotation which means less days at the hospital...but same amount of hours. it'll give me more days off in a row. much appreciated!!
well, i found a new program to do this blogging on so hopefully that means i will do it more. it seems much easier than the other one, or maybe i'm just smarter now, but i doubt it.
