So, I was sitting on the toilet the other day and thinking about life, a few patients I had, etc and thought ...huh, I still have my appendix. For most people this may not be that exciting but to me it was. You don't really NEED your appendix so if it is giving you trouble they take it out. Most of my organs don't work well, they give me a lot of grief, but I need them. My thought was...well, if I still have my appendix it must be working fine!! Woo Hoo!! I have an organ that works!! I have my appendix!!
(I know, how sad is that. As I said in a previous blog...it's all about the small things!!)
